Throwback - Protein Pints Wins $20K!

Protein Pints, West Michigan’s protein-packed ice cream brand, was one of the big winners at the Start Garden Demo Day 2023 competition in Grand Rapids. Taking home $20,000 to help fuel their growing business. Thanks in part to a video I produced to showcase how they got started and their vision for the future of protein ice cream.

After being selected as one of 100 finalists, Protein Pints pitched their vision for better-for-you, high-protein ice cream and earned the community’s support to secure one of ten $20,000 prizes. This win is helping them expand production, launch new flavors, and get their pints into more shops. This was the first of many pitch competitions they have won over the last couple years!

In this video, I went around and got footage of other businesses hoping to get a giant check. But just because most didn’t win, it doesn’t mean their product or service was not noticed.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted, shared, and showed up to support. It’s a perfect example of what makes West Michigan’s small business community so special.
